Megan Palmer

I write a range of fiction and creative non-fiction, and in 2013 received a creative writing diploma from Oxford University. Several of my short stories and poems have been highly commended or shortlisted in competitions including Writer’s Village, Writing Magazine, Global Writers and Five Stop Story writing; and my stories have been published in Structo and Scribble magazines. Alongside my creative writing, I am a features writer and have been published in BBC History Magazine, Heritage (now Discover Britain), Writer’s Forum, and The Oxford Times, and a wide range of websites. I tend to write literary fiction, sometimes speculative or dark in tone, with the hope that I might touch on something about the fragility and complexity of human experience.
